The father who does not teach his son his duties is equally guilty with the son who neglects them.

I'm not so sure I agree with that one...

A quitter never wins,
and a winner never quits.

But a guy who never wins and never quits is an idiot.

The institution of the family is decisive in determining not only if a person has the capacity to love another individual but in the larger social sense whether he is capable of loving his fellow men collectively. The whole of society rests on this foundation for stability, understanding and social peace." - Daniel Patrick

Is there anything more beautiful than a beautiful, beautiful flamingo,
flying across in front of a beautiful sunset? And he's carrying a
beautiful rose in his beak, and also he's carrying a very beautiful
painting with his feet. And also, you're drunk.

If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.

I have an idea:

Let's tax the heck out of cigarettes in order to get richer and to stop those terrible smokers...

Then let's screw the nonsmokers out of their lunch hour with two fifteen minute smoke breaks... ;)

(It can only happen in america, 'cause we're the greatest nation in the world.)
