Mornin' all ... something I've noticed a few times here, just did a quick search of the boards,
but didn't see it.
Apologies if this has been addressed before ...

Occasionally, after a reboot, my Boinc client icon

pops into the systray with a little red dot/cross

on it ... it seems to be running just fine otherwise.

Just curious what that is, and why it does that

That happens when the boincmanager is not connected to the client/or tries to establish a connection at the first start.

Nothing to worry about.

I didn't see anything wrong with Boinc itself,
just an oddity occasionally :)
