	I re-created this thread since #XII got too large for the dial-upers. Everyone is welcome to this thread and welcome to post. All I ask is that you follow the guidelines I have set for this thread, we need to keep the dial-upers in mind. Enjoy.... :) SETI/BOINC MILESTONE THREAD GUIDELINES: 01. You must be a current, active participant in the science of this project to post milestone messages. 02. This thread is for announcements of milestones for any BOINC project. 03. This thread will allow helping new users only if related to SETI/BOINC. 04. This thread will not allow milestones not related to SETI/BOINC or other BOINC projects. 05. This thread will not allow flaming any other users. [See this thread.] 06. This thread will not allow any profanity. 07. This thread will not allow 'stretching': no imbedded images. While quoting a post with a very long broken URL in it, fix it if you know BBCode, otherwise delete it or place spaces in it to break it up so it will wrap properly. While making a post, with a long URL, use a small link name. Or, another option is to use http://tinyurl.com/ to create a new "tiny" link. If you must include an image in your post, create a link to it, no thumbnails. Stats images are allowed in signatures only . HINTS FOR DIALUP USERS: You can update your preferences in your account. Edit your "Forum preferences": 01. Set "Show images as links". This will also create a link for images in signatures, but will not hide avatars. 02. Set "Hide avatar images". All you will see is the username and stats. 03. Set "Hide signatures". Some signatures have useful information, links to related sites and such and witty quotes. If you set #1 above, you will still see the information, but any images would be loaded as a link. If you set this, there will be no signatures displayed. This new thread replaces: [XII], [XI], [X], [IX], [VIII], [VII], [VI], [V], [IV], [III], [II], [I], [Beta]. BOINC World position based on RAC (based on incremental update) 300 out of 1,300,797. Yep, agreed, since i just crossed the 4000 RAC barrier and up to 1/4 of a Million credit, just needed to post this 'event' ;). My 2 nd quad (Q6600) runs @ 2,66 GHz and 296MHz BUS speed, multiplier on 9. Still waiting for my Q9550 :( . I was up to 230,000 two years ago and was going to hit the 1/4 Mill in a month when ARAMCO uprooted me from Dubai and sent me to Yanbu in Saudi. I was living in an Hotel in yanbu with a telephone switchboard, no direct dial-out and phone calls were charged at "Per 3 minutes". Plus that and the Saudi dial-up download rate of 5 Kb/min made Seti a very slow and extremely expensive hobby! ____________ Join the #1 UAE Team.

	Well...after their extended walkabout....... The kitties have the phased quaddy back to #84 in top computers and I have climbed back to #119 in the user category.......(cat-a-gory)........ Still clawing my way back up....
