Nassim Haramein, "Crossing the Event Horizon," Part 1

Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library
4 hr 2 min 53 sec - Dec 24, 2007
http://www.theresonanceproject.org

If you are not yet familiar with Nassim Haramein's exciting work, prepare yourself for an exhilarating odyssey into hyperspace and beyond. Haramein, who has spent his lifetime researching fields of physics from quantum theory to relativistic equations and cosmology, will lead you along a fascinating discussion geared to a layman's understanding of the fundamental nature of the universe and creation that includes black holes, gravitational forces, dimensions, and the very structure of space itself - all of which are integral parts of his now-complete Unified Field Theory. Haramein's theory is currently in peer review process for publication in physics journals; however, the presentation does not end with the introduction of his theory alone, but includes the discussion of the path that he took to arrive at his views, which weaves between the texts and monuments of ancient civilizations, biology, chemistry and the primordial role of consciousness - all of which lend further credence to the science behind the theory.

The term "metaphysics" says it all. Einstein's equation of General Relativity does explain the expansion of the Universe. Maxwell's equations and others given in a class on partial differential equations correctly describe wave phenomena in 3 dimensions plus time.

3-D modes of wave propagation are well known--I did my masters thesis in 1965 using a TEM (transverse electro-magnetic) form of a microwave--I used a cut-away spherical cavity to confine the wave.

That's not to say that our models and our understanding are completely "correct" but further evidence and understanding will be found in the institutions of science--not in metaphysics.

Just my take on it--what do you all think ??

Did you watch the video?

Thanks Bill,

Did you watch the video?

I watched only about an hour --not the whole 4 hours. This was enough to tell me that this guy was not a classically trained Physicist. He appeared to lack understanding and profound knowledge of much of what has proven to become "correctly" understood and verified in Physics .

Thanks Bill,

He is trying to explain his theories to people with little physics training, so it takes a while for him to get to the meat of his thoughts. One hour in would leave anyone hanging. Especially someone trained classically.

I invite you, and everyone, to watch at least past the 2.5 hour mark. Google videos allow you to click on the time line so you can get back to the spot you left off at, immediately.

Some interesting SETI data in the mix at about the 2 hour mark.

Thanks in advance.

I will watch some more and try to keep an open mind. What are his university degrees and where are they from? What peer-reviewed articles has he published in scholarly journals such as the Annals of Physics, the Philosophical Journal etc. He appears to be plenty old enough to have established a track record--most people's major contributions in science occur in their 20s'.

I would like to have others comment on his video

regards,

I watched the video. Near as I can tell, this guy quit school at 16, was a ski instructor for 15 years, then became a dive instructor and then lived in his van to follow his notions on Physics. Actually I like DADDIO's theories better.

Brad White is a pseudonym that I use.

I guess I'll have to wait for someone else to watch it.

Thanks though.

The Nature of Existence:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8503156790716142769&hl=en

This is an "ex nihilo" derivation of existence as the geometric embodiment of a simple integer count. Possible mechanisms are given for the nuclear, weak, electromagnetic and gravitational interactions as well as cosmological observations.

I hate to always be the one to comment on the fringe stuff that you espouse. I hope that others will check out your posts and offer their comments as well. The advancement of science is not based on induction; it is based on the scientific method--certain mathematical proofs may well be based on induction; but not what we hold and prove to be substantially correct in our physical world.

Advancement in science is not based on untested guesses as implied here. There will of course be the formation of hypotheses which will then be TESTED via experiment and either rejected or advanced as theories--these methods have existed for hundreds of years.

Guesses and suppositions should not be advanced as scientific fact and put in front of an unsophisticated public as if it were a new form of religion. I do not feel; as implied by these postings; that Science has served us poorly, or has sought to delude us.

What do you say ??

Regards,

Bill

I try to imply nothing,

These videos help some people think about the subjects or inspire them in their own personal directions. I do not post these to belittle scientists past or current methods or achievements. I just post them looking for feedback. For those looking to hang their hats on any theories I would ask them to think and work out these problems on their own. Einstein was a clerk. Why couldn't the next breaker of a code be a normal Joe/Joan, with large thoughts and a "unique" life styles? I'd like to see more answers to the questions proposed in the videos from people well versed in these fields. Period. We all know where conversations can lead to in large communities like SETI's. I want to avoid all of it. It wastes everyone's time. I think we are doing well.

I realize this can all seem trying at times for those who are in the know and don't have a bunch of time to post a full-on dissertation. I believe this is the correct venue to get some answers and thoughts on these works. (No matter what the name of the work may be or how it may be presented.)

I value your input as I do the spirits of the film makers. We don't have much time here in this world. By presenting all data maybe we can help ourselves or others change the world for the better. Truth. Period.

Sometimes the oddest data can get a dormant mental cog turning in an interesting direction.

;)

Your friend,

mrgray

Lots of formulas in the second video for someone to try and shoot down.
