New SETI participant; having problem, BOINC says "waiting to contact project servers"

This evening I am not able to connect-- had a glitch on the intel imac and BOINC seems to have taken a hit. Could anyone help figure out what is wrong and how to correct it? Last modified: 26 Feb 2008, 6:31:16 UTC BOINC finally started to do something after sitting for a long while. The log appears to indicate some problem though, just after the timeframe where BOINC had stalled (at 23:09:23 time). It then took off at 23:25:47 with messages about preferences issues-- any ideas what is wrong?
