I compiled my own FreeBSD client from unchanged sources. Some of the messages I get are duplicated, and some aren't. Here is a sample:

This happens even on the precompiled downloads. It just makes for a little annoyance when you're looking for something particular, but it causes no problems. I have no clue what it would take to correct it, but in the meantime it won't effect the way it runs.

Thanks, having no way to run a "real" client I wanted to make sure I hadn't done something wrong.
