I am a recruiter as well as a software developer. One of the challenges to get Seti installed on my network was distribution. Installation on each computer takes time. Since I am the chief exec at a software company, I can mandate that the seti be installed, but getting it done is another story. Still, BOINC installed only on a fraction of my company's computers; I don't have the time to make my way around to every workstation. To get adoption, it must be seamless for an enterprise.

So here is my request: Create a Seti installer that can be configured from the domain level of an oranization, this would include BOINC team, username, projects, global settings etc. Each client could override some global settings from a tray icon. With an option like this I could have 100 more workstations using the idle time.

Make it simpler and adoption will increase.

I would welcome comments and thoughts.

You can install BOINC with remoteExcec or SMS or MSI packet installer on your clients pc's. Hope this is helpfull.
