I work on the unified forces theory in my spare time. The computer will greatly aid me in th calculations.

Some of the parts for the new quad build came in today. The first cow for the farm should be born this week.

Well the old man can still build a PC! The quad fired right up and is installing Ubuntu 7.10 right now. Might be crunching before the night is over.

Great...

Now I don't know where I fall in this banter!

150 PC's......254 Cores..... 99% are authorized....In one manner or another...

Healthy? Obsessed? Enigma wrapped up in a conundruum?

Who's to tell!?!?

LOL.......our RACs are about the same.....
You are doing it with 150 PCs, I am doing it with 8...
Who is the more obsessed?? Hmmmmmmm.....a conundrum...LOL.

And to think I still have a Vigor Monsoon II TEC cooled B3 Q6600 to build yet(Oh bother), Of course putting It into Seti won't happen for a bit as I'm delaying that for a while. Not that I couldn't I just need the extra cash until 2010.

One or two machines crunching on idle: casual user.
10 machines crunching full time: interested user.
Buying all the latest hardware and o/cing it beyond belief (msattler, I'm looking at you!): hardcore user.
Running it on every machine you have permission to: healthy obsession.
Running it on every machine you don't have permission to: unhealthy obsession.

My guess will be that it is the one who is paying the power bill out of his own pocket ;) ??

Seriously, how much power does Your 8 machines toll Your power bill?

No offence intended..

I have 2 hosts running only, although I could start a couple of machines more, but my budget says stop. :(

Happy crunching :)
