Hmpf...

Looks like I've been using an incorrect Project URL on some of my Installations (http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu ).

I take it http://setiathome.berkeley.edu is the correct one ?

Now, how do I change the URL without having to detach the Project or mess around with it ?
(would manual editing of the client_state.xml would be a viable way of correcting the Project URL ?)

Despite delivering Results from 5 Systems now, I haven't got any Credit except on 2 days; I figured a working, nevertheless wrong Project URL might be contributing to it (?)

Hello FalconFly :),

nice to meet you here ;)

Both are okay. The Projekt URL is at first used to get the scheduler URL which is read by the Core Client from a special tag in the web page found at this Project URL. Because both URL's get the same web page and the same tag this is okay.

The URL is used to identify the project in several client functions. So editing the client_state.xml is not enough and it may become a little complicated to change the URL without detach/attach the project. But as I explained above there is no need to change it.

A wrong Project URL may prevent you from getting or resending workunits and results, but has nothing to do with the credits.

The credit system with the SETI@home servers is always a good test if you are patient. ;-) I didn't believe that it is a problem of the client installation in general.
