The newest release won't minimize on launch, kinda annoying to have to close it down everytime I restart the machine. I'm running WinXP with SP2 Didn't have this problem until I updated to 4.09 Any takers on whats up with my BOINC? // Just because you're not paranoid, doesn't mean they're not after you |

Are you using the -min option? The line in the startup shortcut should look similar to: "C:Program FilesBOINCboinc_gui.exe" -min Edit: I really like the way these message boards strip out the backslash :-) --
Regards, Paul - Just slowly BOINCing along...
|

I've been with Boinc since v3.x. As far as I remember, using Boinc GUI, it has always start up in a non minimized window. If you are using the GUI interfrace, you can change the shortcut to ...\BOINC\boinc_gui.exe -min. (adding a space a minus sign and the word min). |

I have XP SP2 > [url=http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/] ------------------------------------ The game High/Low is played by tossing two nuclear warheads into the air. The one whose bomb explodes higher wins. This game is usually played by people of low intelligence, hence the name High/Low. |
