I have an idea but I would like to learn if it is a good idea or not. Well, computers will have more than one cores ultimately, at least two cores. Suppose I have CPU with four (after a time eight or maybe much more) cores and would like to make an arrangement for WUs like two cores will work for SETI, one core EINSTEIN and one core ROSETTA or maybe I would like to have a PROJECT lists for each core or maybe have a project list for three cores and one core to share works with other cores (OR THREADS). Well this is for BOINC Client rather than SETI but I could not enter to the forum.

The BOINC forums needs separate registration.

This is being looked into as an option for a future BOINC version. Not to be expected in the next one, which is BOINC 6, but perhaps one above that.
