Just wondering if anyone has succeeded in downloading this Universal Binary for the GUI version? I have now tried 3 different sites and in each one the download stalls when 2.9 of 6.31 MB have arrived on my computer.

You should get through now. (5.10.38 is available in "other versions", by the way.)
There was a problem at the Server for some time from 0600 UTC onwards today.
There may be a report from Matt on Technical News tomorrow to explain what happened.

Hope you are enjoying OSX Leopard.

Have you yet opened the downloaded folder and run the installer?
You do not seem to have had any tasks sent to you.
And, of course, you will need to make sure the SETI@home project is attached.
You do that from the Tools menu in BOINC Manager.
Make sure you use the same eMail address as when you attached on November 18th.

Further to the last message, did you realize that you have 2 accounts started in the same name?

There are 5 hosts on one:-
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/hosts_user.php?userid=8282029&show_all=1&sort=rpc_time

and one host on the other:-
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/hosts_user.php?userid=543960&show_all=1&sort=rpc_time

Only 2 hosts are still active on user id 8282029. One on Mac OSX and one on MS Windows XP.
You may be able to consolidate your credits from the older hosts onto the later ones by going to the "My Computers" page in BOINC Manager and clicking the button "Merge Computers by Name", but I'm not sure it will work across differing OS versions.
It's worth trying and can do no harm.

I don't think you will be able, however, to do anything with the host on User id 543960.
You may have noticed that, having set up 2 accounts, your name appears twice in the Team "MacCafe" list of members.

Yes I did know of the problem, it arose by mistake when I mistyped my user name.
Nothing I have been able to do gets rid of it.
