However, since you are at the mercy, so to speak, of the speed of the return of the work units by other participants and the fact that the credit is awarded after processing by the transitioner and validater, if either of those goes down; well, it can be a long wait. With the site problems of the last couple of weeks this is one of the likely scenarios. One of the reasons that I don't pay credit much mind right now. But you could write down the numbers shown in the BOINC Work Manager's projects tab and track it that way. As an alternative you can go to one of the statistics sites that tracks all users and look at you charts there on a daily basis. <p> For BOINC Documentaion: Click Me! |

This seems reasonable, but it's not consistent with what my experience with BOINC has been so far. Up until now I usually got at least SOME credit each day for the work being done. Over the past week I have received a total of about 40 credits. That's about 1 credit / WU completed. That seems ridiculous since my average credit is listed at 50 credits / WU. Why the sudden lack of credit? It's stranger still that I actually received 38 credits one day followed by several days of 0 credit, and finally a few days where I received exactly 1 credit. Something is broken... All of the sudden every single work unit that I process hasn't been done by 3 computers? Illustration: P.S. "Recent Credit in the chart actually means "Average Credit." |

> f) the moon is over Venus > g) you complained about not getting credit > h) you came up with a flawed scheme to cheat > Beauty. ------------------------------------ The game High/Low is played by tossing two nuclear warheads into the air. The one whose bomb explodes higher wins. This game is usually played by people of low intelligence, hence the name High/Low. |
