Hi everyone!

I'm newbie in use of SETI@Home,so sorry if the answer for this question is trivial, but I didn't found anything matching my problem.
I'm using a BOINC manager instelled from an Ubuntu 7.10 repo. It's version is 5.10.8. My problem is: I computed 2 tasks, and the Manager waited to upload my results. Before it happened I shutdown my computer, I thought the Manager will upload when I turn it on at morning. But in the messages section I got these errors: 2008. jan. 13., vasárnap, 09.38.20 CET|SETI@home|[error] State file error: result 22fe07ah.22442.7025.15.6.195_0 not found.
I think it means: it wont upload the results.
And it's started to download and compute new tasks.
How can I recompute these missed tasks? Or need I recompute them, or the server sent it for anybody else?(I know: every task sent for 2 computers. But the server can not validate the result if it's get back results from only one computer...)
Much of thanks for answers!

Looking at you computer's work units, you should have 8 work units to process and one has been returned and granted credit. The ones with granted credit will eventually be deleted from your work unit list. You will also see work units with pending credit; those are waiting on your partner to return their result.

All tasks have a deadline. If the tasks are not returned by the deadline, they are resent to someone else. BOINC is designed to take care of missed results, since work units may not be returned for any number of reasons like malfunctioning computer hardware, computers being taken out of service, people trying BOINC out and then deciding they do not want to.

So the occasional missed result is expected, and will be resent if not returned in time.

Thanks, in this case I don't worry, someone else will done my task...
But an another question: I wrote in my previous quote: it seems the manager deleted the results without uploading. I know that the task is finished, but not uploaded, and the program can't found (maybe deleted) it... I don't know why, and I don't want it to happen again with me, 'cause in this case my CPU worked useless. :(
