The OS for each host is registred. Now, let's say I have a host with Win2k and WinXP on it, and I install BOINC on both and in the same folder. How will this affect the wu's? Earlier it was no problem switching between say Win9x and Win2k and have sah classic continue on the same wu's if run from the same folder - I'm guessing it would be the same with BOINC, but as each host is registred with the OS I'm a bit curious as to how this will affect things (server-side and client-side). Will the host be registred as two different (I'm guessing yes)? S@h Berkeley's Staff Friends Club ©[/url] |
