Message 698234 - Posted: 7 Jan 2008, 22:19:49 UTC - in response to Message 698194.

I have an agreement with my GF that should anything happen to me, she will absolutely see to it that my kitties are taken care of, and found a new home if necessary. And I have promised her the same for hers.

If you lived near me, I'd be asking you, cause my cat's used to being well loved, and I can tell you love cats. :)

I have an agreement with a friend, but haven't seen the friend in some time, so the agreement's a bit wobbly right now. I'll just have to hang in there, I'm in no rush to leave anyway. :)

Of course you hang in there, don't go anywhere, now we have got to know you. :-)

But of course kitty needs to be taken care of. What about Robert Brooke aka Scary Capitalist, he's a very kitty loving person, not scary to kitties at all. You should have seen how caring he was to his old kitty, back when his kitty was dying, he downloaded an aquarium screensaver for kitty to watch, and he held kitty in his arms all the time till the last moment. If you live near each other, then maybe an adoption agreement could be made?

Everyone here seems like good folks, but it'd really be pretty hard to ask something like this to people I don't really know lol

It'll work out though, I'm due to move to another place soon, one full of people like myself anyway, I'll probably find someone there who can take care of my cat once I get there, so I'll be all set. Only reason I mentioned you is...well..you seem to REALLY love cats, and that's a plus in my book :)

Hope the move to your new place goes well. Don't be surprised if kitty is a bit out of sorts for a short while in her new surroundings. I am sure she will get used to it quickly. Hope you meet some new friends. And maybe some new kitties too!
Take care.

Mark.

Watching them freak out while you arrange the furniture is hoot. Nothing beats the sick pleasure of seeing those ears pinned back while they duck under this and that. Of course, whenever you need to sit down and relax for 20 minutes sometimes you see pointy ears poking out from behind a cardboard box.

Warning: Keep door shut

Here's another kitty pic for you...
This is my dearly departed Tigger outdoors under a pine tree in my front yard. I didn't do anything special to get the effect in her eyes...must have picked up the green from sunlight shining off of the tree and the grass.
So here is the Demon Tigger prowling under the pine tree...LOL.

I know I already posted this pic....but Mongo wanted to wave a paw again...

And while we're at it....even though this is a " kitty " thread...Jake says Hi as well....

And yes...he is definitely " kitty friendly ". :-)

Well..I can officially say that Jake is " kitty friendly " because every once in a while..Mongo....who isn't very big even though she's 3 years old or so ( not really sure ) gets a wild hair up her behind and decides it's time to start chewing on the dog's head ( which is actually bigger than the whole cat ).

When she does, he never snaps at her.....or even growls. He usually just looks at me with a " Can you believe this cat ? " type of look....lol

When I fall asleep in the park and ducks start pecking on my forehead I'm told I get a "can you believe these damned animals" look.

Maybe your dog and I would get along. We might understand eachother.

Holiday season is officially over in our house as we have finally put the decorations away for another year... not so easy to do as one certain kitty didn't want them to go, lol.

Happy birthday Calm Chaos!!! Terrible twos?

Those are definitly cute pictures. That cat is a real beauty!

Although I'm still quite partial to Msattler's Squirrel, and especially Tigger, something about that cat appeals to me...so sad she passed so young :(

Yes, Tigger was a very special kitty, and I will miss her always.

I have to say I'm quite partial to msattler's Squirrel as well...

Mystery may be far from being the brightest cat on the block, but besides the giggles and joy he brings me, I haven't had to kill a spider at home for the longest time, I just walk around and pick them up already dead, lol.

Yes, Squirrel is the Queen of the house....she's a barnyard mix, but I know somewhere she has a bit of Maine Coon in there........

Yes, I see some Maine Coone in the face.

<<< PK (current avatar) is the boss of the house even though he's almost half Mystery's size :)

It ain't the size of the cat in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the cat.....LOL....
How 'bout a link to a bigger pic of ol' PK?
