I personaly think Francis Crick for the discovery of DNA and Alert Einstein for his work on relativity.

Copernicus must be one of the most influential scientists ever: his heliocentric theory was a very important step towards our understanding of our place in the universe. Charles Darwin’s theory of natural selection did something similar regarding our status among the organisms on this planet.
