On a whim, I added another 20+ hosts late this week. All of them fast SUN boxes most multi CPU's V240 ... V440 (SparcIII 1.0G. etc) it's been 4 days now - with absolutely heaps of completed units - and not 1 credit.

(now I'll have to recompile 4.09 and redeploy ... sigh)

I understand the 3 confirmed completes requirement - but come on - surely 1 of these boxes would have formed a triumverant of returns with somebody else by now !.

what gives ?

When you take a look to the power consumation and the *huge* supporting tasks U hve to do, might it will be cheaper better to replace all babies with

1 (one!) amd64 or a fast intel HT cpu

The verifier also has to compare the 3 WUs. I believe that it is still working through a rather large backlog. The verifier had an infinite loop problem that was identified after a couple of weeks of very little granted credit, and then it took another couple of weeks to get it functioning again. Meanwhile WUs were being sent out, crunched and returned. I believe that it should be caught up sometime next week. It was getting through about double the WUs that were returned, so it should catch up in about the same time frame that it was down.
