No, you did not give that impression but I was just trying to tell you that I wouldn't shut up if you asked me to, regardless of how much I respect you.

It is just a bad habit because I know some people that just can't handle me correcting them although they know I right (not that this is the case here)

Whew!

That is a relief. :)

I never ask anyone to (at least I don't think I do) not speak their mind. We always need candid and accurate opinions. But they have to be expressed in a way that is non-conforntational. And they should be based on objective realities. I think there is a problem where you are probing, and I wish you success in your endeavor.

The whole point of Open Source is that the activities take place in the glare of the world wide scrutiny. If you can trace this problem into the BOINC code, or the libraries that are being used we will all benefit from your effort.
