Greetings Everyone.

I have a nice multi-xeon-processor server that is essentially sitting idle because of only running a few flat DB files in SCO OpenServer Release 6.

Aside from not really being "Open", I would like to find a BOINC - SCO command line client for this machine to run.

I'm fairly familiar with Linux, and AIX, and SCO seems to be "fairly" similar. Would it be possible to simply use another Linux Command line version on this SCO box?

Thanks

Yes. I have sucessfull tested BOINC and SETI on Unixware with Linux Compat. So I think, that it would for OpenServer, too.
Please look at this threads for a detailed installation describtion :

I have made a package with all the required Linux libs (and some more) for the LPK, and written a howto (based on old the forum thread). Both are available at www.dotsch.de/boinc.
