I'll hit 1 million any minute. I should have hit it right around the new year, but I shut off a bunch of stuff to go out of town for a week. I shoulda left it on. |

Sometime on the first Saturday of January 2007 I returned to SETI@home and started running BOINC. So I have been running BOINC for 1 year tomorrow. 06 Jan. In that time I have run SETI on 3 older Windows PC's: My trusty Athlon XP 2200+ http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=3001110 My old P233 MMX http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=3066425 Also ran it for a while on a PII box. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=3150229 In that year I also added SETI Beta, LHC@home, Rosetta@home, RALPH (Rosetta ALPHA), Leiden Classical, and most recently SIMAP. I have participated in the forums (mostly constructively), helped a few new users, helped a few times with Beta issues and Validation Errors, and tried to help advance the course of Science for SETI and other BOINC projects. I am not a credit hound, but I hope to add some new and better hardware this year, so that I may contribute even more. The last year has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Here's to 2008 and lots more milestones, and lots more Science. Keith Sir Arthur C Clarke 1917-2008 |

Just passed half a million, all since the end of June. Couldn't have done it without the help I have received whenever I have asked about a BOINC related question or problem. Thanks and /salute |

While I can't even begin to match up with msattler's numbers, I feel pretty good that I just did 100,000 credits in 30 days, and have reached 1,100,000 credits in BOINC. Congratulations to msattler, and to everyone else for their special achievements! dan Plus 5,026 SETI Classic Units |

Well i just noticed i'm past 300K i'm looking forward to getting 1/2 mill. the old seti had little certs at goal points (doubled to between each point) that you could down load with your name, goal point (100,000 wu) and a pic of something in the back ground. now with work units so cheep the first one would be higher but i liked bing able to show off. come to think about it they could put in your account info and you could print them or not. so what do you all think? |

HIT 3000 RAC on the quad, that's cool Like that core 2 quaddy, eh? I've got a Q6600 OCd to almost the same clock you are running, and it's currently at around 3800 RAC. You should get close to that if you run steady for about 4 weeks at your current crunch rate. Good luck!! "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
