For instance, if i'm out of internet coverage, but ready to compute. How can I get a lot of tasks for that time?

At the top of this webpage, click on Account -> General Preferences -> Network Usage -> Maintain enough work for an additional X days. Increase that setting to however many days your internet is going to be unavailable. For instance, if it's only going to be a day, cache enough work for 1 day. I wouldn't recommend over-caching as that could cause BOINC to go into EDF (sort of a "panic" mode). Save your preferences.

The next time your computer contacts the SETI servers, it will download these new preferences and start using them right away.

Rather than using extra work, you should use Connect every X if the internet is going to be disconnected. This way the CPU scheduler has some hope of getting tasks finished early enough to be reported on time.
