I'm running Boinc with Seti as the attached project. I have about sixteen work units ready to process no problem. Some not due until January. Some due in several days from now.

Boinc does'nt seem to process by due date.

Other than manually suspending the later due work units to force Boinc onto the more current ones.

How does Boinc select work units and can it be altered.

BOINC works on a first downloaded first crunched type of mode. It doesn't vary from this unless it thinks there is a problem and needs to crunch sometime to make a deadline.

Playing with suspending, etc. just confuses BOINC, and will cause things like Duration Correction Factor, etc. to go off kilter, which could cause you to download less (or more) than your expect, and cause other issues.

BOINC is build to be left to it's own resources to do the job. Playing only causes undo stress on your and it.
