5. If someone knocks on your door in Scotland and requires the use of your toilet, you are required to let them enter (4%)

Hmmmmm, interesting...

10. It is legal to murder a Scotsman within the ancient city walls of York, but only if he is carrying a bow and arrow (2%)

Hmmmm, "kilts for sale, free bow and arrow with each sale"...

Only kidding ;)

Unfortunately York City Council are currently in the process of repealing number 10. My Dads cousin work for them, he was curious as to why they are spending public money on stuff like this though.

I apologise in advance, quite silly I know, but I keep picturing...

[quote]1. It is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament [/quoted]

You're under arrest... Are you listening? Do you understand what is happening to you? Would they allow a burial while out on bail and then dig up the grave for court appearances? or maybe they'll just (the imagination runs wild)... What punishment would fit that crime? I don't know, my mind just boggles at that one.
Happy birthday Calm Chaos!!! Terrible twos?

9. It is illegal to enter the Houses of Parliament wearing a suit of armour

This must be a law dating back to the Middle Ages.

In Florida USA, If an elephant is left tied to a parking meter, the parking fee has to be paid just as it would for a vehicle.

Plus.... and remember this guys.....

Having sexual relations with a porcupine is illegal. (in Florida anyway.)

Sometime, someone in Florida tried that & probably sued someone.

So, I guess if you like porcupines, move somewhere else.......

in Germany:

Every office must have a view of the sky, however small.
A pillow can be considered a "passive" weapon. (Oh yes, pillows are dead dangerous! LOL)
It is illegal to wear a mask. (That's the "Vermummungsverbot" - they want to see your face to be able to identify you!)
It is illegal for ones car to run out of gas on the Autobahn. (You could endanger the traffic running on the other lanes when you stand on the side-way without fuel. LOL)
