cRunchy has provided some images for Guy Fawkes Day here in the UK, & has made them available for a week only.

I changed my avatar using the preferences & it's ok.

However, on checking my Linux boxes, my original avatar remains.

I thought that once changes are made & updated, it affects all machines, or is this a difference between the 2 o/s?

Some browsers keep images cached for a long time. Try refreshing the browser cache (usually can be done by forcing a screen refresh).
