I have been running BOINC Manager 5.10.8 with SETI@Home on Ubuntu 7.10 for some days now without any problems. That is, downloading/uploading and computing go well. But when I select a running task and press "Show graphics", nothing happens. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks! *^_^* |

Seti@home has no linux graphics. :-/ Wrong. I have graphics with SETI@home. Running Fedora 7 x86_64, 32-bit BOINC 5.8.16. Remy, are you running an optimized app or just the stock/default one? What version of BOINC? Linux 32 or 64 bit? |

Got the same Problem :/ I'm using Ubuntu Dapper Drake LTS (6.06.1). I've installed from the ubuntu repository packet boinc-client and bionc-manager packages. They contain boinc-mgr version 5.4.6 and bionc client version 5.4.9. I'll try some other projects. |

Got the same Problem :/ No graphics with 5.4.9 because it's too old. 5.8.16 and 5.10.21 are shown on the download page as the current stable versions. I have graphics with 5.8.16, but never use them because, (a) pretty pictures are not a reason to run (or not to run) any project. And (b) graphics waste valuable cpu time... |

Okay ... I admit I should have looked up the latest stable version.
Don't worry ... I've got one desktop system (3Ghz) and two linux servers (2Ghz) at home. They are all woking for seti@home while I'm at school. So I think I can waste some cpu time for pretty pictures ^^ Thx a lot for your quick answer. |
