Hi there all i'm new to seti@home, and not techie at all.

I love the idea etc, and heared about the SETI@home-Mapview. I tried selecting Boinc directories not know which one to pick???

As such i looked on the messages and found out you need BoincLogX,in order for the mapview to work.

BonicLogX asks for a directory to pull the information from, again the same problem as before.

Could someone help with an 2yr olds guide on how to set these up correctly.

I've tried reading some to the help messages from each programmes sites but i must admit i'm totally lost.

PLEASE can some kind soul help please

Many Thanks for any help

Sorry, I don’t know how those add-ons work … but you may be interested in this ‘teaser’ Preview of skymaps from the Science forum.
