Until we find a way to convert water into hydrogen using less power than what is produced by burning hydrogen (physically impossible) then it will take more energy to make hydrogen to burn...

Also ANY form of fuel will end up costing the same amount as gas currently does because of big companies... they care more about bottom lines than anything else.

I want ZPM's and naquadah reactors.
Hopefully the cosmos is not trying to reverse the charges.

Nah. The hours stink and you can't do anything except watch. Talk about frustrating.

One day someone like these guys could discover something revolutionary.

When I read through this thread, I thought of urine power:

I don't this'll make it as an alternative energy source. It's kinda nasty. :D

Maybe you are talking from our way of perspective but from their view of perspective it is actually really interesting that they likely do business in multiple dimensions. From our dimensional perspective it is quite unimaginable what is their business. The only thing we manage to sense is they are observing. ;)

There is huge possibility that at some higher dimensional reality science and technology is meaningless.

I'd vote for ZPM's. Naquadah seems a bit unstable.

@Jon(nanoreid) and Orgil -- You might enjoy continuing this discussion in this thread http://forum.team-scifi.com/index.php/topic,842.0.html which could use your insight on the new season. Check out the other boards, we'd be glad to have new voices.

Oops this was a working link but maybe the owner has canceled it, it was a brief lecture on physics that tried to deny e=mc2. ;)

..........................................................

Sounds like some of the "no global warming" crowd.

Basic physics/chemistry is that in any process entropy always increases unless it is a reversable reaction. And there are very few reversable reactions!
