When a WU is finished Boinc uploads the results but in the work tab the WU is still there and is marked as "ready to report" (and on the website is still marked as "in progress"). To report I havo to go to projects tab and do "update". Is there a trick to do this automatically?

You can wait until the next work unit is crunched, then the RPC scheduler will be appraised of the last unit's update. And else there is an RPC scheduling every 6 hours.

Actually, the result will be reported the next time that work is retrieved, about six hours before the work unit is due to expire, or manually, whichever happens first.

Is that the expire date 15 days from the sent date, John?

He's talking about the "report deadline".

I must be dense then.

I have the first unit sitting "ready to report", and the second one is 56,84% done. I want to get the first one out/reported. But I do not have an "update" feature button anywhere in the "projects" tab.

What am I missing??

In the tab "Projects" right click with the mouse over Seti@Home. You will see one of the possible actions is "Update".

Greetings from Belgium.
