I just noticed some different graphics today in a new work unit. It says "Multi-Beam" at the top left. What does it mean?

It means that the web page code has had the graphics updated to reflect the MB work we have been doing for a while now. Multi Beam instead of linefeed. No big change, just an update in the web code.

When 5.28 is processing work which was recorded from the ALFA receiver array by the Multibeam recorder, it shows that. 5.12 didn't because it was built before there was any Multibeam work.

Up to several months ago we were using and calculating data from a stick-type receiver that collected only one beam of radio waves from the sky. Now we are using a more efficient receiver that collects seven beams at at time and each beam at two different polarizations.
