The Political Compass is a quiz that is a bit more in depth, and provides quite a bit more explanation of the results, and thus, to my mind, is far more interesting. Click on "Take the test" on the left side of the screen. It uses the same sort of grid, but there are more questions. Enjoy, politicos!! Well, looks like a leftie dominated board here then! Errm, you got me there wearing open toed sandals, but not there studying at the LSE, or there (got my joint honours degree in Computer Science and Politics from a UK university where that course was an option) and reading the Guardian next!!! stopped doing that on a regular basis when I left the UK, now it's the New York Times. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Economic Left/Right: -3.62 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.18 Which pretty much backs up my shorter quiz result. Ironic that most of us here are lefties when the elected leaders of our countries (Bush, Blair, Howard, Harper) are all righties. Kolch - Crunching for the BOINC@Australia team since July 2004. It is an american thing. It was a little doll like object given away at sideshows in fairs during the 30's-40's as a prize. Apparently they are worth a decent stack of cash these days so if anyone has a spare one laying around i'll gladly take it. Kolch - Crunching for the BOINC@Australia team since July 2004. Odd..I seem to get more left wing as I get older and more educated. ;) <-- Jeffrey winkie I don't have the beard (maybe that will come as I get older)..I do wear open toed sandals (better still..I wear the vegetarian Birkenstock sandals)..I never studied at LSE, although I have studied at Goldsmiths which has a good reputation as a lefty university and I do read the Guardian.
