I also had that problem....as it turned out I didn't read a paragraph on the "how we are transsitioning page...". One of the links there said "if you are a current @home member, click here, and can access your auto-created account from old-seti into new seti@boinc" The other link said "to create a new account...". --- Once I discovered this I couldn't access the auto-created account, because my "new account" on boinc used the same email address. Solition: Abandon "new account" by clicking the link in it's "your account" page to change the email address there. Then I was able to use my "auto-account". |

In march of this year the motherboard on my old computer died and I woundup having to build a new one (computer that is), then I got a virus and woundup having to reformat my hard drive so I lost my password to my account. In the meantime, I moved and had to change ISPs so I could not ask for my password because Seti Classic only sends email to email address on file. I could not change mine. In the other account I have over 860 WUs since 09/07/2000 that are not reflected with this account I would like some way of retreaving this information or combining both Seti Classic accounts. The original account is under rkinkead@jps.net. |
