I remember long time ago a person who was so sad because he felt ignored on his teamboard, he felt that nobody noticed him. I had a longer email conversation with him about this. Now this person from India, who were quite active on this board and who joined your team, haven't you any ideas of why he suddenly stopped posting? He's apparently not posting on your teamboard, since you don't know him? Haven't you made him feel welcome and as a part of the family over there? Has Monday left your team? I wasn't aware of that. What made him do that, didn't you treat him like family over there? I'm shocked! :-O It was brought up in this thread, where cRunchy has been the most loud about this, that the admins and moderators of this project should be active in attracting posters from non-English speaking countries to come and post on these boards. India was brought up as an example, by cRunchy (why I don't know, as most of them speak English pretty well there, hence their past as a member of the Commonwealth and being under the British Crown), so I ask about that Indian guy who was very active posting on the board and then suddenly disappeared. Again, cRunchy refers to his/your team as family, so I wonder why you haven't greeted your new family member from India and made him stay as an active poster. Again, cRunchy's big concern is to keep people posting here because these boards provides, or it should provide according to him, a nice emotional welcoming atmosphere. He calls the admins and the moderators sterile and is terrified by the thought that this project is about to crunch numbers for a scientific project about finding radio signals from space which might indicate some intelligent lifeforms out there, and he empathize with the aliens, in case they come here, if they see how un-emotional this board is, because we don't, again according to him, actively invite people from all parts of the world to come and post here in their own native languages. I just make the analogy to your team here because of cRunchy's concern for all the people out there in the whole big world, and because he refers to his team as his family and he wants this forum to provide the same feeling of emotional familiarity here. Then I ask, how come you don't have all your members to participate on your teamboard as that big family, cRunchy thinks this board should be? "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world." - Me |

I exchange emails with Monday? LMAO The only thing I exchange with him are mod notes when I delete his posts! And they are for all to see, it's my impression that they are being published to a larger group of people these days, besides the mod list? Ok Ok, I must admit I was not really shocked, in fact I don't really care. I just wonder why he would leave your team, he seemed to fit in so well? That was news to me. Yes, repeating the same thing over and over again can make people believe them, I have seen that so many times on these board that lies are being spread and then repeated over and over, and suddenly they are being internalized as the truth to those who never dared to question their own perceptions. This phenomenon has been seen in history at all times, and also on these boards. There is nothing you really can do about it, because those who internalize the lies as the truth don't have the integrity to stand up against it. It was brought up in this thread, where cRunchy has been the most loud about this, that the admins and moderators of this project should be active in attracting posters from non-English speaking countries to come and post on these boards. Again, cRunchy refers to his/your team as family, so I wonder why you haven't greeted your new family member from India and made him stay as an active poster. I have already answered your question in the quoted part. SNIP.. Oh poo Fuzzy. I never said my team was a family that Fuzzy could attack. I said my team was "my family"... Please stop using me as a battering ram for your own politics. For me my team is my family. That does not mean others will feel the same thing. Other members of TFFE treat the group in their own way. Do you dislike my affiliations? Please do not hammer other people because of anything I said. It seems we (cRunchy and Fuzzy) are in some kind of battle. I don't want to fight anymore. The meaning of Orgil's thread is more important to me.. Regards. |

Now now,sta imamo ovde. I know. I remember him well, and I know he's still in your team. But I thought cRunchy should find out for himself, since he's so concerned about all the Indians and all the people in the world that they must be invited to this project and specially to this forum for emotional and humane reasons. As I pointed out earlier, I find it weird that he is less concerned about the people who already have been here and are in his team than he is for the anonymous masses out there. I don't know if Praphul got bored, he didn't seem bored to me back when he posted, so something must have made him leave. I know for certain that I have addressed him nice and, with cRunchy's rhetorics, warm feelings. In English, of course, as that was our common ground language wise so to speak. SNIP.. Ahhhhh cRunchy, pooohhhh! I'm happy times have changed for you, cRunchy, that you now feel you are sitting at the table. You know very well what I am talking about, I have the emails to show. :-) Of course you can always make a new caption competition and give a t-shirt to the winner to attract people to this project and board. :-) "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world." - Me |

I'm sorry for that Jeffrey, I didn't mean to stir up unpleasant memories for you. Did you see my post in the Altruism thread about this? But yes, it's weird how concerned some people are about anonymous people they never have met when they at the same time are so ignorant towards people they should be concerned about, people who are not strangers. Awww, well we cant all get along... You are saying that Praphul didn't get along with you? That was bad, I thought he was a nice person, very agreeable. Anyway, the discussion here is the Seti Forum diversification, how do you feel, as a non-English speaking person as myself, we get along here, across the nationalities?
