Still running when computer is in use.

I've defined use as keyboard or mouse within 3 minutes. The seti@home task always runs regardless of this setting. I double-checked my settings in the preferences and it still says do NOT run. I really want to help out, but can't afford BOINC running during other work. HELP! ID: 649062 ·

Did you do an update on Seti? (Advanced View -> projects -> select "Seti@Home" and press "Update" on the left) - In advanced view, could you please check the Activity menu, if "run based on preferences" is selected? If not, click it. If none of this applies, you can try to use the local settings (Advanced view -> Advanced -> Preferences). You may need a newer BOINC version, since I don't if this already is available in 5.8.16. Maybe they work better ;-) HTH Andy ID: 649081 ·
