I was just wondering if their is anyway to see your rank compared to everyone else like you could on seti classic. I have looked around the site but found nothing and I couldn't find it anywhere in the help files.

Aactually now I have to clarify that it depends on the way your page loads up, whether the site I gave was different than the one below (or above). To clarify, it is an alternative to the site provided by Mr. GoodWrench, and the same as the site provided by StokeyBob.

All the mentioned sites are good stats pages.

But I think the user was asking for his rank info in the USER account just as it is given in the classic account. Is there any reason why we have to search here and there to have this and other basic information? The info in the user account is held at an absolute minimum. I have often wondered why.

Greetings from Kirsten, Copenhagen, DK

Absolutley Mr GoodWrench. I like both sites, sometimes wanting the "dazzle" of synergy, sometimes the "detail" of Boincstats. Didn't mean to compete, the work units are for that. Just like to show alternatives, and how to find them from the home page forward. Hopefully experienced users are not offended, and new users are hopefully getting info they can actually use. I'm a bit advanced, but the technical answers are over my head sometimes.

I am in total agreement. I remember that Classic had a page that gave the rankings, but so far that hasn't been ported over to BOINC, so, we have to rely on outide sites to provide the information we seek. And these sites deserve our gratitude for the hard work they've put in to develop these stats for us to view. But, we're still growing. I can remember when I first started Classic back in 99. Had the same growing pains. I think everyone here has been doing a wonderful job. My hats off to all.

I believe it was a deliberate design decision, the original SETI site did not do much for off-loading the statistics from the site. Here, we have a project agnostic system and so third part "glue" sites make sense. For example, I am attached to 5 BOINC projects right now, though I am only actually processing for 3 projects because of the changes being made to the systems on the other two (well, Pirates/Einstein@Home does not look like it has ever really started up).
