Message board preferences not working correctly.

The message board preferences I have selected for use in my account do not seem to work correctly. I am constantly having to change the sort from the default to the one that I want. They appear to be correct in the settings page, but they do not appear to work in the help desk area.

What setting are you using?
For me it is working fine, using "most recent answer first" for the help desk.

I was wrong the first time. It seems that so far every time I visit the board, my settings have been moved back to the default. I am using Most Recent Answer and Oldest First.

I try it out.
The settings you are using are working fine with me.

It would be very nice if you could document this bug in greater detail - like when, how, what you did etc... - is there any pattern? I can't seem to reproduce the problem...

Ok I have now been able to reproduce it and isolate it.
It happens when you set a preference in the faq and then go back to set a preference in the forum and then back again.

I'll look into this.

Ok, I haven't got a clue how this error got past the alpha test, but you could only save one sorting pref at a time. So if you set your thread sorting to "newest first" and then went to the FAQ it would have deleted your FAQ settings.....

I've fixed this and the new code will be deployed in this public project in a few days.
