I switched to the newest opt. app. (09/02/2007) and since this I get the message: 'no work from project'

I done it before ~ 1 hour..

It have something to do with the '5.28' entry in the app_info.xml ?

The 'old' app had max. '5.27'..

I have no problems with receiving 5.28 using the optimised version. I'm running on win32.

There is no work - period.

BTW, There are no 5.27 or 5.28 WUs. Berkeley doesn't create work for a specific version of the application. The closest they've come is the time we converted from SETI Clasic to SETI Enhanced. At that time only the Enhanced Application could get Enhanced WUs and only the Clasic Application could get Clasic WUs.

Well now - that might be a "good enough" answer for the "CheerLeaders" ;-)

For the rest of us - the answer could be in this thread:

Good enough for me!

I knew that ;-)

BTW: Watch your RAC - it's getting dangerous low.
You might find yourself NOT to be able to write in the Seti forums - if it gets lower than the minimum required. ;)

Just,...and I mean just before I started gathering data, I actually got below a rac of 1. When it got below 0.5, then I couldn't post. I had to run seti or not post. I'd been working for months to get my projects to stop at as close to 5 digits as possible (I.E 30K without going over, 200K etc). It wasn't seti's turn, but they forced my hand, so I'm setting it's limit (stopping point) at 250 or 300K. See sig below. Then I'll go back and try to finish off the other projects I was running(rosetta to 300K, Primegrid and ufluids to 30K). I'm being held hostage to be able to help users..grrrrrrr.

Anyway, 0.5 is the lowest your rac can go and still post (it's rounded up to 1, at 0.49 you're done)

Mine should last a few days, even if one of my quads crashes...LOL.

If you pulled the plug on all of them right now you’d probably be good until next year!
