This is from an associate of mine who is retired from an US Intel agency that I will not disclose:

Some news from the area of the Golden valley : The Chinese government has decided in order to curb cults they are going to be selecting the Lamas from this time forward. This has caused quite a lot of protests in the area, and east going into Sichuan province. The area to the west I have not been able to get any communications with. The protests have been met with considerable violence and a communications clamp down. I am able to get some emails to my associates, but they are not allowed to send anything out. My only communications is through limited telephone calls through ****** in our Shanghai office. Unfortunately there is not much trust of any Chinese person by the Tibetans and I am not getting much information at all about what is happening there. I still have 3 associates that I have not heard from since the crackdowns started 3 months ago.

Good luck with that, guys. The Chinese government will have about a much say in picking the new Llama as the Italian government has in picking the pope.
Hopefully the cosmos is not trying to reverse the charges.

I can see the Chinese government naming someone and the Tibettans ignoring that person.

Oh for God's sake. At first glance I thought you were talking about LLAMAS the ruminant animal used for wool. I thought, 'what the hell is this guy talking about?'.

Heeehe.

To me one of the most impressive men on earth, even if I don't agree with him in all aspects.

Yes, right now I am pretty proud about how Merkel is not bowing to Chinas pressure, even though it may affect our economy.
