Linking Classic account to new account

When I tried this, I get the error message "This e-mail address (xxxx@hotmail.com) belongs to an active BOINC account. " Do I need to disable my old account somehow? I have 78,786 hours of SETI classic that I'd like to link to my new account. Thanks. ID: 629667 ·

The classic credits are not added to your BOINC totals, but noted on your account page. You can either use the account with the old email address, or you can use the one with the new email address, but you cannot merge the two. With 98K BOINC Credits for S@H, you might really consider staying with the new account. BOINC WIKI ID: 629774 ·
