I am thinking about life other than earth which is definately possible. even if we cannot find ET lifeforms in the next 100 years, I believe we can still find mutated / evolved version of earth-based lifeforms outside earth. This is possible because bacteria, viruses, worms and possibly small insects may have "smuggle" into space probe send out to space. But the funny thing is after so many exporation and research, man have yet to find these evolved / mutated earth lifeforms in other worlds. Have scientist just shrugged it of as nothing new?

The way we're going we'd better send out some probes of our own!

Well, here's one astronomer's rebuttal to much of what is in that link. Phil Plait's Bad Astronomy site has tons of good info on what's real and what's bogus.
