This is what I know so far. Please correct me if I am wrong. To my knowledge, these are the only projects that are or have been made available to the general public - BOINC or otherwise:

1. Climatepredict (BOINC)- operational. Public beta?

2. Seti@home (BOINC)- operational. Public beta?

3. LHC@home (BOINC)- inoperative. Closed (1000 person) beta?

4. Predictor@home (BOINC)- inoperative. Upgrade to public beta?

5. Folding@home - operational. Beta?

6. Astropulse - inoperative or discontinued?

7. Genome@home - discontinued or concluded?

Are there any others? I've got a few extra clock cycles to spare and I am very interested in volunteering for as many projects as possible. Naturally, I'd prefer all of them to be BOINC, but if they can all run simultaneously, I'm OK with that too.

As I posted in another thread: check out grid.org for a non-BOINC set of projects.

I also discovered this distrubuted computing project. I thought you might want to know. BOINC-approved, of course.

Get in early. This project is the one I've been waiting for.
