seti has been executing task: 04mr07aa.8827.2338512.4.242_1 for more than 4 days during which many hours were computer idle. Nevertheless the progress meter sits at a steady 0.003%. I have suspended and restarted task. i have requested updates i have suspended all other projects all to no avail. currently it is the only project executing ( the others are temporarily suspended until i solve seti's troubles ) Seti has the greatest allocation (300%) of all of the 5 participating projects on my computer (100% each). I have never had any previous problems with seti. help please ... ID: 621840 ·  |

I have never had any previous problems with seti. help please ... A batch of workunits was sent out that had a problem with the header information. It seems that you have been allotted one of these. There will probably be a ZERO credit claim or awarded, which seems to be a true reflection on the useful work done. The solution if a task remains stuck at a very low percentage. Go to the tasks page of BOINC Manager and select the task, click on the abort button. The percentage will shoot up to 100% and the task will be flagged "aborted by user". With this time waster removed, you should straight away get a replacement task downloaded. Or, in your case, you can resume those tasks you have previously suspended. Keith ID: 623898 · |
