So far, only two data units have been processed. BOINC tells me that another unit is currently downloading, but this is for 6 hours now, although I am constantly connected and online via cable (all other internet stuff works just fine). when I press the update button it trys to connect, then delays the request for minutes or hours and nothing happens. Klarry You seem to be on the wrong thread, as your hosts are all on Windows XP. But, if you have hit the same problem that I had when SETI had outages at 30th September onwards, you may find that downloads are in "perpetual motion" in the Transfers panel without the percentages progressing even after numerous "retries". I finally cured this by quitting (= exiting for windows) from BOINC Manager and opening it again. Immediately everything was back to normal and the downloads that were previously queueing all loaded within minutes and my Tasks panel showed all the tasks duly downloaded and "Waiting to Run". I'll send this as a private message too, in case you realize that it is a Mac board and do not visit again!! Keith ID: 661816 ·
