I've changed my preferences and want them to change immedeatly, the preferences screen has the message: "Your preferences have been updated. They will take effect when your computer communicates with SETI@home or you issue the "Update" command from the BOINC client."

How do I issue an "update" command?

Also . . .

is there a way of searching this message board to see if a question's been asked before?

Had look over that question. Yes there is, in top of the page "Message boards" as well as in top of the page "Questions and problems". It is called "Keyword search".

It will give you this.

Tozer,

You can look for concepts in the Glossary and they will, in most cases, take you to the pages in the Owner's Manual, and In the Web Site Owner's Manual.

If they don't send me a note!

I update material almost daily so there is always something new. My current project is to add multi-project capability to the Web Site Owners Manual and to add page counters. 22 more pages and I will be moving on to other new additions.

Some older material that does not seem to be used is also being take out now too ...

Hapy reading!
