One thing I would truly like to see is at least one sortable column in the 'results for computer' page.
The 'time reported or deadline' column.
It would be very helpful to be able to display a computer's results in order by last date reported. When you have hundreds of WUs in play, trying to sort thru to see the last 20 or so that were reported by a computer mixed in with the 'in progress' ones is very tedious.
If one could display them with the most recently reported at the top, you could more easily see what work your computer has recently been completing or to check if it has started generating any errors.

Implemented. I am not quite certain whether it will be in 5.10 or not (I am currently running self builds again). I know that it was in earlier versions of 5.10, but I am not certain whether it is in the most recent version.

John....
I am not sure we are talking about the same thing here. I am not referring to anything in the Boinc client. I am referring to the Seti web pages.
Home page - your account - computers on this accunt - your computers - click on 'results' for one of your computers - results for computer page. Now it lists all of the results still on the server for that computer, but you can only view them in the sort order displayed, I think roughly by date sent. I would like to be able to view them in order by date reported, so it would show the latest results reported by your computer first. If you have many results in play, and you are crunching at the top of your cache, the most recently reported results are buried many pages deep in the results on the server because it displays that most recent work downloaded first.
Does that clarify what I am requesting?
Thanx,
Mark.

Sorry about that. No we were not talking about the same thing.

Come on, this is not a really wild reguest. If I could code it myself I would. I know the database requests would come from KPAX, but I suspect that the data handling servers at Seti could handle it. Thought I would toss in some humour, cuz I hadn't seen a response in a few weeks.

Since the web pages are BOINC, that board would probably be the best place to ask.

I know (guess?) that the basic build for the web-pages are BOINC-Based/Coded, but doesn't each project have the ability (if not the time, necessarily) to expand the 'reports' to allow certain options?
An excellent example is the Server Status pages across various projects.

Well, this is the Wish list. Just hoping. It would be nice to pull up a rig's results by the time reported so you could see the most recent activity first.

I second this motion in a big way - actuallly started a separate feature request about this before finding this thread. Me wants it! How can we make this feature happen?

I submitted a request to this thread on the BOINC message boards and I also placed it as a comment in the BOINC poll. Feel free to weigh-in with your opinion!
Keeping my fingers crossed... :)
