I just noticed a slight jump in my credits. Is it save to assume the validator is back online? |

From the front page: September 10, 2004 The validator fix (see September 8, 2004) and an associated transitioner fix have been implemented, tested, and placed online. Credits are flowing. Visit Seti.org.uk SETI News Mailing List |

Now...if they can just get pending credits, and results working, i'd be happier. I also propose a NEW stat: average credit/ WU. I see a differance of 40 between the last time i checked, and today....so is that 1 WU or 2? Nice to see the 'odometer' working again. <a> |

Has anyone else noticed any recent problems with the validator? Check out this recent WU result: "http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah/workunit.php?wuid=4260760". Three good results and no errors indicated or have I missed something here? Server status indicates validator is running and nothing in the queue. This is the first instance I've seen in a while where the credits were not granted almost instantly when 3 good results came back. |

And if they aren't the same they can't be validated against each other. If that is the case the server should however have sent the WU out again until 3 identical results are found. <BR><img src="http://www.boincstats.com/stats/banner.php?cpid=da68f8244337f6fb4d885c95f9fc5bc4"> |

I am aware of that however, it is my understanding that where 3 results have been succesfully returned and one of the results is statistically different than the other two, that reult is marked "invalid". In this instance, all three of the result ID files still show the validate state as "initial". > |
