x86_64 gentoo, boinc and seti@home

I have followed the instructions, installed the boinc client, created an account and began recieving errors such as the following: Message from server: No work sent Message from server: (there was work for other platforms) No work from project I am running the amd x86_64 gentoo distribution. Any help is appreciated. |

I have followed the instructions, installed the boinc client, created an account and began recieving errors such as the following: It's because the 64 bit boinc is not supported by Setiathome. a quick fix would be to go there ---> http://lunatics.at/index.php?module=Downloads;catd=16 1. stop boinc 2. download "64-Bit Linux SSE2-generic" read the instructions that comes with the download 3. drop the app_info.xml and the application into your "../projects/setiathome.berkeley.edu" directory 3. restart boinc a nice side effect is that the app you've downloaded is 2x faster than the stock application that comes from seti@home.
