BOINC Manager Won't Download Seti@Home Binary

BOINC pulled down work units from setiathome.berkeley.edu, but it can't do anything with them because it also needs to download the setiathome-5.12 binary. The work units download fine, but the binary download transfers keep getting deferred because of "http errors". I also attached to ClimatePrediction.net and Einstein@Home. These also pulled down work units, but they also pulled down the binaries and started crunching just fine. Is there something I can do to fix this, or is this part of the server issues with Seti@Home? ID: 579523 ·

I had a stale entry in my /etc/hosts file for the Setiathome data transfer domain. It was left over from when I was running the classic client over dial-up and I ws trying to avoid DNS lookup delays. I removed it, and the binary was immediately downloaded. ID: 590932 ·
