It's Memorial Day, so the Space Sciences Lab is almost empty like on most holidays. I am so looking forward to the start of the NHL finals tonight, but I felt obliged to do my usual Monday blog. I am all done my GALFA tiles. Here's a picture of the "spring" night sky at Arecibo, from data taken for the TOGS project since about December of 2005:

As for SETHI, 4 more datacubes got done this past week, so I have 129 done, leaving only 15 more for the whole project. With all this computing stuff coming to a close, I'll have to get myself in a mode for writing papers all summer. It's not something I enjoy doing, but as they say, publish or perish.

Hey, with open standards, you should be able to look at any data with any appropriate tool :-)

... Very interesting there...

;-)

Cheers,
