Hi,

for weeks now I've had problems where I get error messages and where the same work unit keeps restarting over and over despite being completed and without being credited. I'm running the latest version of BOINC for Darwin 8.9.0 (Mac OS 10.4.9. PPC) and I have no clue how to fix this.

Help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Pierre

This could happen on Macs sometimes, that the application responds proper to the BOINC client, which generates such messages. This is not a very important message...
Do you have any other IO or CPU intensive tasks running ?

I recommend you a update to the newest BOINC client, which has a better handling for this problem.

It happens several times every day on my Mac and sometimes Boinc (I've the latest version) restarts the SETI unit from the beginning... It's calculating the same bloc since 4 days( usually one unit takes less than 24 hours on my computer)... Last night it was near to finish with it (about 93%) and now its working on the same again(7,33%) !...

I don't hav any intensive task running and Boinc is only working on SETI...
thoses days I only navigate on the net with safari...

Is there really nothing to do ?

thanks in advance...
Laurent
